DIY advice for interior trend followers

Updated:5th September 2019No Comments1 Min Read

DIY advice for interior trend followersA number of tips have been given by Concept Interior to British DIYers hoping to renovate their property in line with the latest trends in interior design.

The company’s head designer Samantha Morgan has revealed her predictions for the most popular styles that are to make their way into homes in 2010.

Firstly, she suggested that it will still be popular to use black in the bathroom, with more rococo black resin mirrors, black accessories and colour blend glass mosaics featuring highly.

In addition, Eastern Glam – which is glamorous, cosy and uses rich reds and purples – is set to become a hit in homes as well as English Kitsch. This nostalgic look uses a wide range of colours and floral features.

Finally, she stated that open-plan kitchens, statement lights, dramatic flooring and eco-friendly products are sure to be in demand in the new year.

It was recently reported in the Guardian that London couple Elaine Linnen and Stephen Barren recently spoke of how they painted their house black to be "adventurous".
