A musician has revealed how a song on his new album has been inspired by a trip to a DIY store.
Speaking to the Metro, Richard Hawley reveals that Truelove’s Gutter features Tibetan singing bowls and he gained the idea to use such an instrument on the track while browsing the aisles of B&Q with his partner.
The Sheffield singer points out that while looking for lightbulbs in the home improvement retail outlet, he accidently kicked a large plant pot "and it just went ‘zing’".
However, while his partner continued to make purchases, he states that he "just spent the next half hour or so playing with this big pot".
But the singer has not been the only celeb to have recently spoken about DIY. In an interview with the Metro, former glamour girl and Channel Five presenter Melinda Messenger revealed that she and her husband Wayne "have done lots of renovations" and she is good at laying bricks and plastering walls.
