“White has come into vogue over the past 50 years. As our lives have become more complicated and hectic, we feel the need to simplify our personal space,” Karine Kong, co-founder of the Bodie and Fou, points out.
Meanwhile, the publication claims that white can have a refreshing effect on a home, DIY enthusiasts looking to spruce up their property may be interested to hear, as using different accents and textures can help bring a room to life.
Recent B&Q research revealed that a third of people are making use of vibrant colours and prints while decorating, with a fifth of these using blue and green, while one in ten are selecting pink.
