Spear & Jackson has added a collection of four utility knives to its comprehensive range of hand tools. The range incorporates a number of refinements designed to appeal to the professional tradesperson and the DIY enthusiast.
The top of the range auto feed and sport models feature a heavy-duty zinc alloy body with slip resistant grip, push-button blade removal and automatic blade reload. Both models have an integral blade storage compartment and are supplied with 10 and eight blades respectively.
The heavy-duty version is designed for tackling tough materials such as carpeting, roofing felt and vinyl. It fits comfortably in the hand and maintains a firm grip when used for these heavy applications, while the hinged body facilitates rapid blade change. A standard retractable model completes the line-up.
