C.K tools believe it has created the sharpest handsaw on the market, the Sabretooth Saw. In support of its claim the company cites test results carried out by the Cutlery Allied Trades Research Association (CATRA), an independent testing body for knives, tools and flatware.
The Sabretooth Saw came out top in tests for initial sharpness and for longevity. The company is confident the new saw will set new standards in cutting performance.
In the cutting ability test C.K toolsย Sabretooth outperformed its rivals by taking on average only 11.5 strokes to cut a single piece of wood, against 14.6 strokes by the nearest competitor. And even after cutting 100 wooden blocks, the saw showed only a very small reduction in cutting ability.
The multipurpose 22 inch saw has a triple edge, diamond ground, hard point, rigid 1mm blade. Sabretoothยs precision is designed to give a more efficient and accurate cut, allowing an easier start with a smoother push and pull cutting motion.
The Sabretooth is available as a first fix saw with seven teeth per inch (TPI), and an eleven TPI second fix version for finer jobs.
